Cognetica, The Israeli center for Cognitive Behavioral therapy was founded in 2006 as a evidence based therapy treatment center that provides therapy for anxiety disorders, OCD and OCD spectrum disorders, depression and PTSD. Since 2010 Cognetica provides an intensive program for patients with OCD and OCD spectrum disorders.

There is one professional CBT organization in Israel, ITA (Israeli Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy). As of 2008, ITA has 250 active members. These friends, most of whom are psychologists, Social workers and psychiatrists, specialized as required as certified therapists, who have studied CBT and apply the approach in their daily therapeutic work. They all met the requirements required to be a cognitive-behavioral therapist, based on a minimum training standard, as detailed on the EABCT website.
