Prof. Reuven Dar

Professor Reuven Dar received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1987. He completed his clinical internship and postdoctoral training at the Department of Psychiatry at the UW Medical School. Prof. Dar is presently the head of the clinical graduate program at the Department of Psychology, where he has been a faculty member since 1988.


Dr. Danny S. Derby

Danny Derby is Clinical Psychologist and has a PhD in human sexuality. He is the founder and director of Cognetica the Israeli Center For Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a co-founder of The Israeli Center For Medical Psychology. Today he is a member of the board of the Israeli Association for Cognitive and Behavioral therapy (ITA) and a member of the Clinical Psychology Committee, that is responsible for clinical training in psychology and consults the Israeli Ministry of Health


Dr. Moshe Landsman

Dr. Landsman has a BA and MA degrees at the Hebrew University and PhD at Bar-Ilan University. He works in the field as a psychologist in the community. He worked with Moroccan and Indian Jews in the Israel desert, then with Palestinian Bedouins and with Palestinians in Gaza. He worked in Kosovo in establishing the Department of Psychology at the University of Prishtina and later with school psychologists in Albania. Lately he has been working as field coordinator for establishing the clinical psychology track at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. In Israel he teach at Kaye Academic Teachers College in Beer-Sheva


Dr. Naftali Halberstadt

Naftali Halberstadt, PhD is the Director of the Training Center for Mind-Body Skills, Israel. After completing his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Naftali pursued his interest in the development and research of information technologies to improve the lives of various at-risk populations (e.g., abused children and their families; clients in psychiatric rehabilitation; the elderly) at the American Joint Jewish Distribution Committee (JDC) in Israel. His ongoing experience as a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist-supervisor and previously as a Mental Health Officer in the Israel Defense Forces, where he focused on the research and treatment of combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder, facilitated the development of JDCs Psycho-Trauma Response Program which he directed from 2002-2008. In 2005, he was part of an Israeli team of trauma experts sent to train professionals in Sri Lanka in the aftermath of the Tsunami disaster. He has provided consultation to professionals working with children and families in the aftermath of the Katrina hurricane disaster. His association with CMBM began in 2004 at the time of their first Israel-based training cycle and continues to date. In 2008, Naftali assumed the position of Director of the Training Center for Mind-Body Skills in Israel.
